The City of Parramatta is changing fast. Older single-family homes on tight blocks are being cleared for medium-density apartments, dual occupancies and knock-down rebuilds. We work right across the LGA, from North Parramatta, Westmead and Northmead through to Harris Park, Rosehill, Granville and Telopea.

Most Parramatta demolitions involve some access challenge. Narrow side driveways from older subdivisions, overhead powerlines on established streets, close neighbours on tight blocks. ANA's fleet covers all of it, from compact 5-tonne excavators that fit through 2.5 metre side accesses to full demolition rigs for two-story brick homes. We send the machine that suits the job, not what we have spare.

Asbestos shows up in nearly every pre-1990 Parramatta home. The Telopea and Dundas Valley areas in particular have a large stock of ex-Housing Commission timber and fibro houses from the 1950s and 60s, almost all containing bonded asbestos sheeting. We remove under Class B licensing as the first stage of every demolition, with NATA accredited clearance before the slab comes out.

The Parramatta Light Rail and Western Sydney Stadium have changed land values across the LGA. Demolition demand has tracked the change, with site amalgamations and medium-density site preparation now a regular part of our work in the area.
