Richmond and the surrounding Hawkesbury suburbs (North Richmond, Bowen Mountain, Kurmond, Kurrajong, Tennyson, Agnes Banks) are rural-residential. The blocks are larger, the housing is mixed with agricultural buildings, and the demolition work is varied. We cover the whole area.

The Hawkesbury Valley has been hit by serious floods in March 2021, March 2022 and July 2022. We are still demolishing flood-damaged homes along the river through Cornwallis, Pitt Town and Yarramundi for owners who chose not to rebuild on the same slab. Flood-recovery demolitions involve extra disposal care for flood-contaminated debris, but the demolition itself is straightforward.

RAAF Base Richmond sits in the area, which restricts some airspace and development around the perimeter. We know the no-build zones and the approach restrictions. Demolitions inside the buffer zone go ahead normally; we just do not do hot-work or crane work without checking timing.

The rural-residential character means a steady flow of agricultural shed removals, water tank demolitions, old stable clearances and outbuilding cleanouts on top of residential work. The bulk-out tends to require tipper semi-trailers given the volume. Hawkesbury City Council CDC applications are managed by our team free of charge.
