Demolition and asbestos removal across Ryde 2112. Family-run, fully licensed, and free CDC approval lodgement in the City of Ryde area.
The City of Ryde sits in Sydney's inner north-west, and the demolition demand is steady. Most homes coming down here are post-war brick veneer and fibro on smaller blocks than the outer suburbs, with closer neighbours: Top Ryde, West Ryde, Meadowbank, Eastwood, Denistone, North Ryde. Macquarie Park innovation precinct sits inside the LGA, but the bulk of our work is residential knock-down rebuilds.
Ryde has a high concentration of Korean, Chinese and South Asian families, and we run a lot of knock-downs for multi-generational rebuilds, where two adjacent blocks are sometimes amalgamated for a single larger build. That brings its own considerations: service disconnections on two titles, two CDC applications, boundary fence and shared tree removal.
The original housing stock is mostly 1950s and 60s brick veneer and fibro, with bonded asbestos in eaves, kitchens and outbuilding roofs. Less common but more sensitive are Federation-era homes around West Ryde, Eastwood and Denistone, which occasionally trigger heritage assessment at the CDC stage. We manage all of this in-house.
The City of Ryde CDC process is reasonable but inspections can be tight on documentation. We have lodged enough Ryde applications to know exactly what they need.
